Doak is a founding member of the Stolz-Smith Financial Consulting Group of Stifel. Doak graduated from Bowling Green State University and then joined A.G. Edwards in Midland as the assistant to the manager in 1986. After completing his securities registrations, Doak began to build his investment and financial services business. He earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification and became licensed to supervise investment personnel in 1988.
Doak managed the Midland office of A.G. Edwards and grew the branch to over $1 billion of client assets during his tenure. After A.G. Edwards was acquired, Doak became a Managing Director of Investments for Wells Fargo Advisors before moving to Stifel. Doak is currently a Managing Director/Investments and Branch Manager at Stifel.
Doak and his wife, Amy, live in Midland, where they raised their four children, Dennis, Abigail, Scott, and Anna. They are active in their parish, and Doak frequently serves on various boards and committees. Doak is also a member of the Great Lakes Bay Estate Planning Council (GLBEPC) and currently serves on the board of Physician Associates of MidMichigan Community Medical Foundation (PAMCMF). In his spare time, he enjoys pursuing his passion for hunting and fishing.
